The Challenge: Our mission was to chronicle the exhilarating journey of five emerging menswear designers as they prepared to make their mark on one of the grandest stages of their careers – Men’s New York Fashion Week.
What We Did: Guided by the creative vision of Josh Charow, we set out to create an engaging story using a mix of different cameras and styles. Our idea was to connect the dots between each designer’s journey, finding the common elements that tied their experiences together. After getting the green light from the client, we dove into a three-day production marathon, capturing the fast-paced and electrifying atmosphere as designers readied themselves for the NYFW spotlight.
The Result: The outcome was an immersive and lively documentary-style branded video. This piece not only dived deep into what inspired each designer’s collection but also revealed interesting and lesser-known aspects of their creative processes. We proudly launched the final video on both the CFDA’s social media accounts and the designers’ individual platforms. Over the course of NYFW, the video struck a chord with audiences, racking up hundreds of thousands of views and fostering a newfound admiration for the dedication these designers pour into their craft.
