The Challenge: Create a branded content piece that reimagines a pair of Levi’s 501s as a family heirloom.

What We Did: Developed, wrote, produced, and directed a short film that touches on themes of family, culture, and tradition while putting at its center a cherished pair of Levi’s 501.

What appears to be another classic tale of rivalry between siblings, turns out to be a heartwarming transfer of a present-day American heirloom built to withstand the test of time and love.

The Result: Delivered an uplifting 35 mm short film that balanced brand objectives in a meaningful and authentic way. The film was viewed thousands of times on various social media outlets and featured on Kodak Film’s coveted Instagram account. *It is important to note that at the time, few if any branded content work was being created on film. Due to the nature of the story, something that felt tangible and honored the past, we felt it was appropriate to shoot on film.
