Unearthing A Miracle

With new music readily available and released daily, accidentally discovering an underground artist that was active 40 years ago feels like fate. Perhaps this is just a story of fortuitous happenstance. What started as a simple playlist shuffle on a streaming site, turned into a mission to unravel the mystery of who Steve “Elliott” Sloan was.

After much digging it was discovered that Steve recorded two albums in the early 1980s that were self-released, but never had commercial success. Very recently his work caught the attention of global audiophiles resulting in a premium price for the original and rare print copies, and Steve finally got recognition and his dues. After looking deeper, it’s clear he was ahead of his time, but destiny always had his back.
